METIS - Speech and text analysis

In this analysis text from transcripts of speeches or captured by other methods can be uploaded to Metis for analysis.


Two forms of analysis are carries out. In the example below, the first analysis shows the sentiments expressed in the document while the pair below show how posiitive and negative sentiments were exhibities during the delivery. 


We have found that there are certain patterns which are exhibited again and again by good speechmakers - in the examples below, Jeremy Corbyn's speech conforms to the standard model more closely than Boris Johnson. But then we have also found that truly great orators such as Churchill and Martin Luther King tend to break all of the rules!
